Students at Indian Valley Middle School learned about the United States Constitution in September. During Constitution week, students in 8th grade were given opportunities in history class to read copies of the Constitution and to discuss how the Constitution was written. As a whole school competition, students in all grades were asked trivia questions on the student-hosted Morning Show based on the Constitution and were given prizes at lunch. On Friday, students were challenged to memorize the preamble to the US Constitution to win a presidential gold coin as well as to be included in a video mash-up of the preamble. Indian Valley Middle School's Student Council used supplies purchased for the school by the Daughters of the American Revolution Bucks County chapter to help celebrate Constitution week. Throughout the week, students had a great time learning about the importance and the relevance of the US Constitution.
